Nurse Practitioner, Hormone Optimization and Medical Weight Loss
Joshua Faucett is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with more than 15 years of clinical experience in neuro-oncology, internal medicine, and wellness-focused care. His clinical practice focuses on hormone optimization for men and women, thyroid support, metabolic health, and medically supervised weight loss.
Joshua began his advanced practice career at New York-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medicine, where he served as Lead APRN for a nationally recognized neuro-oncology program. He developed expertise in research-driven care, multidisciplinary collaboration, and complex symptom management.
Before transitioning into weight management and wellness, Joshua had a distinguished career as a competitive powerlifter and holds a national record in the military division. After years of prioritizing strength and performance, he shifted his focus toward health and longevity and successfully lost nearly 100 pounds through hormone optimization, nutrition, and consistent exercise. His personal transformation shapes his approach to care and reinforces his commitment to helping patients feel strong, energized, and confident in their bodies.
In addition to his clinical practice, Joshua serves as the Assistant Dean of Clinical Affairs at Vanderbilt University School of Nursing, where he leads initiatives to expand advanced practice nursing education and strengthen community partnerships.
Joshua believes wellness requires both science and support. He partners closely with patients to create sustainable routines that improve long-term vitality and quality of life.
